You may want to go to the Windows Update page and run the updates to get the most recent patch.
If you have never done this before you may need even more updates.
Go to your Internet Explorer Browser
Click Tools and then Windows Update
Windows will want to scan first.
If you have never done this you will have to install the Active X
Once you are in you will want to pick Express to get all the critical stuff.
I always keep going to it until it tells me I am up to date or there are no more updates.

The custom option is extra stuff you may want. They put updates for drivers and all kinds of extras in there. So if you get time check those out too.
